revealing intention

My mastercard moment: September of 2007, An Attempted Collaboration.

An interesting thing happened to me last September. I was invited to participate in a photo project. Exciting, right? I thought so. He asked for wide nude SPs, I offered macros and he agreed but kept insisting on "wider, wider". When he finally posted a macro it was altered to look like a porn close-up and titled sleazy to match -- refusing to use any identifying tags. I asked him to remove the photo and when he finally did he threw down some insults and then blocked me.

Lesson learned:

Make sure both parties agreen on EXACTLY what they want from the collaboration.

I call it my Mastercard moment:

Collaborating with a "friend" on a nude project: RISKY.

Finding out he really wanted more than you would offer: OBVIOUS.

Getting blocked by someone who turned out to be a jerk anyway: PRICELESS. = ]

I have to admit, I had to come back several times on this one before I knew what to commetn. Not that a comment is required or anything.

It kind of takes you off guard when your page opens up. Everytime I checked back to see if you posted something new and saw your pic, I would say, "Oh hello!"

:)

LOL, sorry -- didn't mean to scare you!! I totally forgot to post the tags which would clarify that the other picture was just my arm, the inside of the arm squished together. I'm not remembering right now why I decided to post that particular shot of the six on this blog, the shoulder makes more sense...

In any case, it a relief to see you stuck around. You never have to worry with me -- nothing nasty will be posted here. All six of the photos in that series are harmless but one might not know that unless they had the tags to read. They're just close-ups of regular body parts for the sake of textures and details.

The important thing for me was sharing the lesson learned with others who might be in a similar situation. You know?

Thank you, as always, for your friendship. It means a lot. Have a GREAT Valentines Week!!! = ]

You know, I started to say 'there's no telling what part of the body that is.' I see it's just my vivid imagination...

It didn't scare me, just caught me off guard. And I wasn't sure what to say...

And of course I stuck around! I love your stuff...I don't offend easily and if I ever get offended it isn't my place to say anything on YOUR blog...and I would still come back. :)

wow, that really makes me feel good! What a wonderful blogger friend you are, truly a beautiful person. Those sentiments are so balanced and thoughtful, one couldn't hope for more. I'm very touched.

lol, btw, vivid imaginations are what brought us here, no? an interesting thing happened when I posted these pics on flickr -- the two that had a look of something indescent got many more hits than those that were more recognizeable. For example: the "arm" pic that you first saw has 228 views to date from the 7th. (over 100 of those happened w/in 24 hrs!!) and the shoulder pic has only 54 so far... Goes to show that sex really DOES sell, eh? Needless to say that even with that many views hardly any comments were left -- probably not interested in "nudes" with artistic value. It seems there's a lot of people that cruise Flickr just for a peek at some skin... = ]

So I thought that I would post the link to THAT "arm" pic in case Candy wants to see what all the fuss was about:

thanks again, Dana -- from the heart. = ]

Dang it! Can't get the link to copy and paste.

Shame on that bad Dana for thinking it was nasty. That's them Texans fer ya. Ha. :)

Also, give yourself ten life points each time you're "blocked" by a jerk.

10 life points -- YEAH!!! Alright! Who else wants to block me? LOL. Hey, don't fret. I'll email you the link... By the look of it there's a lot of Texans on Flickr -- hmm, who knew?!! You guys are funny. = ]
